Husband and wife team, Richard and Hanna Bjorklund wish you welcome to Imbasa Safari Lodge, located just outside Kimberley, in the malaria free Northern Cape, South Africa. Together with our skilled and friendly staff we strive to give you the ultimate African experience – a stay to remember. Imbasa Safari Lodge provides a marvelous retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life with its air of tranquility, magnificent scenery and wildlife on its doorstep! We take aproximately 16 adults at a time and this gives us the opportunity to take extra special care of you.
We can offer you hunting safaris, photo safaris, golf safaris, night safaris where you learn all about the stars in the night sky, walking safaris, and conferences.
Imbasa’s proximity to golf courses, fishing areas, wine yards, shopping, and to a National Park of 20000 hectares with a variety of wild animals including black- and white rhino and buffalo, gives us the opportunity to offer a wide range of activities, to accommodate the needs and preferences of each individual.

If you have any particular dietary requirements, be sure to let us know, so we can ensure the meals are just right for you. If there is anything else you need, please ask, we'll do our best to arrange it.

Weather:
The Northern Cape weather is typical of savannah and semi desert areas. This is a large dry region of fluctuating temperatures, with sparse rainfall. Summer temperatures range from about 30C to 35C in the afternoon (please note that the summer period in South Africa is during the European winter period and vice versa). Winter days are warm but the nights are chilly with temperatures that can sometimes drop below freezing.

How to get there:
Kimberley is located in the Northern Cape approximately 470 kilometers from Johannesburg. There are daily flights to Kimberley airport from Johannesburg with South African Airways. You can also fly from Cape Town and other cities in South Africa.
